Rajarshi Shahu Arts and Science College were established in 2001, with sublime aim to provide qualitative education to the, economically and educationally backward students in this famine prone area. The vision of our College is “Education for Holistic Development of students in rural area”. The college endeavour to provide higher education to student of academically and economically weaker section of society. Beside the conventional courses, college offers self financed short term courses.
Our college also runs a study center of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nasik through which students from outside the mainstream of education are proffered education opportunities. Our College is aware of its social responsibilities; to ensure our social commitment, we organize a great deal of constructive activities on society level through NSS, Life Long and Extension Department and other departments. Management of our college encourages organizing society oriented activities to bring social awareness among citizen students. The Management is active to nurture a research atmosphere among teachers and students. Teachers are motivated to do research and to participate in International and National Conference. Our administrative office is entirely computerized and library is adequate of text books, reference books and e-journals.
